Since 1976, Taylor Machine Works has manufactured, designed and marketed empty container handlers. The "Big Red" line of empty handlers reflects the knowledge and experience gained in those years. The Taylor empty handlers are called the "All American" units because they are engineered and manufactured within the United States. Taylor is always on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The corporation strives to maintain their commitment of manufacturing and designing the most reliable, best and most productive container handling machinery around, anywhere within the world.
The company's empty container handlers are outfitted with a wide range of attachments and masts so as to better meet your particular requirements. The following is a list of units with their basic attachment and mast.
The TECDS-150H Attachment expands to be able to top pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers. Any containers measuring over 40 feet must have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has electrical signal lights inside the cab, 4 corner twist-locks, 2 work lights and hydraulic slewing.
Able to handle 2 separate 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time is the ELME attachment. It allows for many containers to be stacked on top of each other. Furthermore, this attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks which insert into the side apertures of the lower container's top corner castings and the upper containers bottom corner castings. The highly specialized design of the twist-locks allows block stacking to be carried out.

Each unit of the Taylor container forklifts uses a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air to air or charged air after-cooled diesel engine. A few of the standard engine features consist of transmission/engine protection, diagnostic monitor and electronic maintenance, improved fuel economy, reduced overall emissions and fuel/water separator. In addition, the transmission available for all 3 models is a fully reversing, 3-speed, non-modulated, power-shift transmission. It comes along with remote shift control and inching capacity.
These units have been carefully engineered to handle the worst conditions and the harshest atmosphere's that nature can throw at them. These models are able to work with ease through thick mud, deep snow and rough terrain. Having the ability to rely on a dependable machinery when you are working in lousy weather and in the middle of nowhere is definitely an essential investment for your business.
