End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is an extremely flexible machine and is common in the material handling industry. These machines have superior performance features that are quite comparable to sit-down electric forklift models.
These forklift units are great for warehouse environments that have limited space. The space required to operate these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These machinery are an ideal choice for applications that require frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
Numerous businesses utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines can arrange finished goods on pallets and supplies to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in a way that is both safe and efficient.
The standard reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also have a hydraulic system which allows the driver to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just provides more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
