Hazards of Type-G lift trucks
The lift truck is important for completing warehouse tasks. These really capable machinery lift and move loads of immense size from one location to another. Forklifts have a lot of variations. The main variation is the way in which various units are fueled. "LP" forklifts are the most common kind. They run on liquid propane. Type "E" lift trucks run on electricity and have big rechargeable batteries. Type "D" forklifts utilize diesel and type "G" use gasoline. Though all lift trucks, similar to any piece of heavy machine, can pose a hazard, the type of lift trucks which are fueled by gasoline pose the most risks.

Fire
Forklifts labelled type G can present a fire hazard. Gas forklifts are not made with the same rigorous standards. Gas leaks are the biggest cause of fire due mainly to gas leaks and also escaped gas fumes. This can result from normal wear and from accidents or driving on extremely rough terrain. These circumstances pose a danger and can cause fire. Therefore, a typical Type G lift truck must never be used in conditions where elevated fire risk is deemed not acceptable. Like for example, these units must not be utilized around dangerous or explosive chemicals.

Explosion
Type G forklifts also pose a danger of explosion, as do those which run on liquid propane and diesel. A type of forklift that operate on gasoline can explode as a result of a serious accident in circumstances where a gasoline leak and an ignition source are both present. An explosion could take place when sparks are created in the collision and the sparks ignite the gasoline.

Fumes and Exhaust
Type G lift trucks pose a serious inhalation hazard because of toxic fumes. Gasoline fumes can be deadly in high concentrations. Fumes could result from the exhaust itself or from gasoline leaks. Hence, a Type G lift truck is not suggested for any setting that is poorly ventilated. The exhaust would present a serious danger in enclosed places. This kind of lift truck must be used carefully when operated in close proximity to individuals.
