Kinds
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks such as pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisle. The various kinds differ in terms of the way they run. Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies according to the type. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, that depends on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC kinds are suggested. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 48 volt or 36 volt, are utilized to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustible engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC kinds have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the seat and the controls. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
