Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with various other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access tight places during construction and industrial jobs. They are also known for their ability to maneuver through a job site quickly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and is able to stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators. 360° continuous rotating turntables provide operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 unit comes equipped with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This unit can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs which were unreachable by conventional jibs before. The Z-80/60 model's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This feature enables up and over reaching tasks to be completed with zero front arm swing.
Genie also provides the Fast Mast system which allows for precious time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms need to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be raised fully at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing both efficiency and productivity.
